Don't watch this movie when your husband is gone for 2 1/2 weeks, you're an emotional wreck and/or unbelievably worn out. Even if you've read the book and feel prepared. You aren't.
My mom gave me "The Notebook" (movie) on year for Christmas. I think it was October the following year before I got up the nerve to watch it. I was a mess afterward!! Why can't we be more like our husbands and enjoy the violence and macho-ness of their movies?!
I wasn't planning on seeing this movie and now I DEFINITELY won't!
The book kicked me butt. I absolutely refused to watch the movie. I just can't do it. Darn you, Nicholas Sparks!
ReplyDeleteIt ends differently - but it's not that great of a movie. When you're emotional, it's a HORRIBLE movie.

The Notebook was a doozy as well! All of his are so tragic, even if they end "well," they're emotionally draining!
