So Efficient

I have been looking for a "diaper bag" for forever okay, not forever, but you know what I mean, it's been a while. I'm not a fan of the typical diaper bag look even though actual made-to-be-diaper-bags are probably more functional than anything else, but at this point (baby #4) I really wanted to buy something that I'd be able to continue using after we were are out of the diaper bag stage.

I'd been looking for a grey purse since I saw Syd's, seriously, SWOON for a while now, but realized that buying a new purse was a pretty silly (not to mention an unnecessary expense at this point) since I would most likely not feel like carrying a purse and carrying a diaper bag (I'm no rookie, folks - less is more these days). So....

I bought a bag that will serve BOTH purposes (I know, so clever)!

And it's adorable!

And handmade!

And I can use it afterwards for plenty of purposes - it's a great size (big!)!

And I got it off Etsy (my favorite online shopping destination) and I could not be more pleased!

[And I'm now done with the exclamation points and beginning sentences with "and", even though it's hard to stop.]

I just hope it gets here in time to pack it up for the trip to the hospital.

[The ribbon is removable (and will be immediately removed).]

    Love it! What is it made of? Washable? And, although not a huge fan of the ribbon, I do love the splash of color the orange gives.

      I agree about the splash of color, I might try to find something a little different to pin on to one of the straps where the ribbon is, but who knows. ;)

      It's made out of a water-resistent (part nylon) material and it's (supposedly) super easy to just wipe clean inside and out (not the typical cloth fabric) which is one of the reasons I was so stoked about it. :) Cute AND functional!
